Becoming More Significant

power up your body, mind and soul

What makes you worthy of attention? What is the lasting impact you make? Find out by taking the test.

Take the Significance Test

 Power up your body,mind and soul

A life-changing program to empower lasting impact

Many business leaders, senior managers and entrepreneurs have all the trappings of success and yet feel unfulfilled and isolated.

Most of us suffer from the ‘Imposter Syndrome’ at different times in our lives and may wonder when we are going to be ‘found out! This can paralyse us from stepping out of our comfort zone and tapping into the unlimited potential we all possess.

The 'Power up your Body, Mind and Soul' programme  connects you at a deep level with your unique skills and talents. It enables you to define and embrace your purpose which greatly increases motivation and fulfilment and it empowers you to detect and manage your ever changing internal chemistry to perform at your best on the stage of life!

“A life isn't significant except for its impact on other lives.”
― Jackie Robinson

Appreciating the unique value that you and those around you bring to the workplace, produces a culture of collaboration where everyone is encouraged to share their ideas and to become a ‘leader’ in their area of expertise. They are encouraged to take ‘ownership’ and are part of a shared vision, goals and purpose.

The dictionary definition of ‘Significant’ is
‘Sufficiently great or important to be worthy of attention;
noteworthy’.

So how significant are you?

  • So, what makes you worthy of attention?
  • How do you share your particular value?
  • How do you appreciate and support your colleagues?
  • How are you leading by example?
  • What lasting legacy are you creating?

When you know the answers to these questions and truly believe in the value you have to share, you can lead from a position of real authenticity.

The 'Power up your Body, Mind and Soul' programme is like ‘rocket fuel’ for self-esteem, confidence and personal impact. It reaches deeply into the person within you and cuts through many layers of limiting self-beliefs built up by your upbringing, education, relationships, career pathways and the many challenges life throws at us all.

This life-changing programme is  for Leaders and Senior Managers who want to increase confidence, communication, collaboration, decisiveness, motivation, productivity and growth.

It is open to both groups and individuals face to face or online.

It offers in-depth training and mentoring covering the following topics and much more with complimentary workbooks, videos, ebooks, articles and more.

1) Maximising Your Talent

Psychometric Questionnaire prior to starting the programme which gives you a comprehensive report highlighting your strengths, challenges, communications style, ideal roles and much more.

"Sylvia over delivered during the programme and I ended up with a renewed sense of purpose, a plan for execution, momentum and some wonderful new friends. Sylvia is making a big impact". Jim Foley, Chairman, CEO and Board Advisor

Your Profile explained and explored in detail in this first session;

  • Discover your natural skills and talents and the unique value you bring to the workplace.
  • Identify the ideal people to work with to complement your strengths and counterbalance your challenges.
  • Clarify how you can lead with greater impact and build more TRUST in your business and with your clients, prospects and colleagues.
  • Develop a mindset and culture that builds collaboration, effective communication, transparency, ownership and growth.
  • Action plan to implement immediately to increase creativity, productivity and ‘flow’.

2) POWERING UP

This is one of the foundations of the 'Power up your Body, Mind and Soul' programme.

It is about being the most energised, empowered, confident and impactful version of 'YOU':

• Physically
• Mentally
• Emotionally
• Spiritually

"Sylvia has collated a wealth of resources geared at nurturing your wellbeing and increasing your productivity, as well as an enhanced sense of your strengths, values and objectives going forward. I feel energised and galvanised . I would strongly recommend this course to any of my GP colleagues" G. Tweddle Senior GP

Being the best version of ‘YOU’ gives you much more to give to others on all levels. When we are facing tough times, we often have low self-esteem and don’t look after ourselves well. We can over-indulge in food, caffeine, alcohol or drugs to suppress the pain and then feel worse because we are bloated/hungover or have come down from the artificially induced ‘high’.

When you are fully ‘Powered Up’, you can face the challenges life throws at you with confidence, courage and determination and come through them stronger and wiser.

We will be exploring;

  1. The psychology and physical intelligence behind self-care and most importantly – how it makes you feel physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
  2. The impact of good nutrition on your brain, your gut, your energy, motivation, ability to learn and to stay focussed and how to increase your energy every day.
  3. Regular exercise to keep fit and healthy and to bring more energy to your work and family life every day - the importance of finding a routine that is bespoke to your needs and your lifestyle right now.
  4. Taking time out to be in nature, to meditate, journal and just ‘be’ rather than always ‘doing’! The neuroscience behind meditation and mindfulness.
  5. What happens when you sleep
    – Neuroscience behind quality restorative sleep and the impact it has on your work and family life.
    – Ideal sleep hours, preparation, aids to sleep, do’s and don’ts for optimum benefits.
  6. Time out with family and friends
    – The release of the feel-good hormone Oxytocin and the impact that has on you physically and mentally
    –How Oxytocin engenders feelings of belonging, generosity and TRUST and therefore helps to build rapport with everyone you meet. The reverse effect of spending time with people who drain your energy and how to change your energetic state in a matter of seconds.
  7. An action plan to implement new empowering habits to boost your self esteem, clarity, creativity and impact right now.

3) Your personal brand

You already have a brand, in fact, you ARE a brand whether you realise it or not. You have skills, talents and experiences that are unique to you. When you interact with others and showcase these attributes, people will form an opinion of you and make decisions based on their perceptions of who you are and what you stand for.

"Sylvia gives you the tools to really understand what is making you tick. Where you are in flow, what your values and USP's are, what goals you want to be working to etc and through all this helps you to find what makes you shine! I would recommend this to anyone, regardless of your industry, stage in your career etc. It has been the perfect tonic for me and Sylvia has been a joy to work with - so inspirational!" Jackie MacGregor Recruitment Manager

A Powerful Personal Brand

  • Differentiates you from the competition.
  • Conveys your message with impact and authority.
  • Accelerates the process of building trust and credibility.
  • Positions you as the ‘go to’ person in your field.
  • Attracts your ideal clients and contacts – the ones you really want to work with.

Building a strong personal brand starts with recognising and celebrating the different facets of who you are;

Your vision and what you stand for, your values, strengths, talents, passions, style, personality and quirks. Together they make up an identity that is uniquely yours.

Products and services might be the same, but brands are always different. YOU are what is special about you.

The second part of your personal brand, is how other people perceive you.

This powerful session includes your Personal PR exercise with feedback from the people who know you best

"This programme gave me many practical, high-impact, motivating nuggets - but most valuable of all has been getting feedback from others (friends, family, and business) which has given me a wealth of material for my own marketing."

- Annick Devillard, Marketing and Branding Expert

Behind The Mask

Whatever external mask you choose to wear, if it doesn’t reflect the genuine, authentic ‘you’ then this will create a feeling in others that ‘something just isn’t right about you’.

By connecting with the core elements that shape your character, you create the opportunity to develop a powerful presence that leaves a lasting impact on everyone you meet.

Personal presence is a huge part of your personal brand. It may be difficult to define, but we all know it when we see it. Someone walks into the room and people notice them. Heads turn, and conversation opens up to include them. When they speak, people listen and join in. When they ask, people answer. When they lead, people follow. When they leave, things wind down and their unique essence lingers on long after they have left the room.

People with a Powerful Presence;

  • Look confident and comfortable, speak clearly and persuasively, think clearly even under pressure and act with intention.
  • Reflect on their emotions, attitudes, and situations and then adapt accordingly. Accept responsibility for themselves and the results they achieve.
  • Present their genuine character authentically. What they say and do matches who they are.

'Every individual has a need to feel special and significant. When you are living your life in a way that fills you with meaning, it unconsciously creates a strong sense of balance that is felt and recognised by others'. Nikki J Owen

4) IDENTIFYING YOUR VALUES and CLARIFYING YOUR VISION

What are values?

With your recognition of your unique expertise let’s explore and gain clarity on your Values and your Vision.
When you are clear on your inherent strengths and unique offerings you will be much more focused on how to stay true to your core values.

When you are totally aligned with your values, your vision and goals are much easier to define and expand.

Values are principles, standards or qualities that an individual or group of people hold in high regard. These values guide the way we live our lives and the decisions we make.

A value may be defined as something that we hold dear, those things or qualities which we consider to be of worth and can include concepts like equality, honesty, perseverance, loyalty, faithfulness…etc.

Our values are very much individual, and they affect us at a deep subconscious level. Every decision we make is based on our values and either we use them as avoidance or for aspiration.

Or values can change as we evolve and grow. This session gives you time  to stop, take a deep look at yourself and what's most important to you right now. You can then re-define your values, and they become clear signposts to guide you through an authentic and fulfilling life.

This session includes;

  • Identifying your top ten values
  • Aligning those values with your key areas of expertise
  • Prioritising your work to spend more time honouring your top core values

“The more boundless your vision, the more real you are.”
― Deepak Chopra, Life After Death: The Burden of Proof

Clarifying Your Vision

A vision provides the destination for the journey, and without a destination, how can you plan the route?

Without a clear vision, effective business planning would be impossible.

Clarity of Vision = Clear direction = Clearly defined goals = GROWTH!

Your Vision should include;

  • Your primary goal
  • Where you want to be in the future
  • A level of excitement

This session brings real focus and clarity on where you want to invest your time and energy for a future that is both fulfilling and SIGNIFICANT.

5) GOAL MAPPING, STRATEGY AND ACTIONS.

Now you have mapped out your VALUES and VISION - let’s define the goals that will bring that vision to life and create a plan for your continued success and growth that is aligned with your purpose.

  • Let’s start with identifying what you want to achieve in your business and personal life
  • Now look at your ‘WHY’? How will achieving those goals impact on you and the people who share you life?
  • What steps can you take right now towards realising your goals?
  • What are the possible obstacles?
  • Who are the best people to collaborate with to make it happen?

This is a very practical exercise to identify key objectives and steps to take to create a future that fills you with purpose and joy.

6) EVOLUTION AND GROWTH

'Self-actualisation’, is one of our basic needs (Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs). As we continually evolve, we build our confidence, self-esteem, innovation, courage and inner peace.

Constant learning fires up new neural pathways and keeps our brain active, creative, energised and more productive. Learning also makes us feel valued and valuable and enables us to help others to grow which is a key element of Becoming More Significant.

We will look at;

  • How you are going to continue investing in your personal and professional growth.
  • The Spectrum of Significance – what areas do you need to focus on for maximum impact?
  • How can you become more Significant by sharing your learning, insights and wisdom with clients, colleagues and across your media channels?

We will also address the impact of Continually stretching;

  • The importance of moving out of your comfort zone, the adrenalin rush, the feel-good factor and sense of achievement that produces.
  • The neuroscience behind fear and how it stops us stepping up and what to do about it
  • How to become the ‘go to’ person in your field.

The more powered up you are and the more you are operating in ‘flow’, the more of a trusted ‘expert’ you become. This will attract people to you who want to work with you even though they might not know why.
